Day camp

program details

Activities may differ between the various day camps, but what will not change is the heart of the ministry at Camp Morrow-the gospel!  Chapel with our passionate speakers and cabin led Bible studies will continue to be part of our every day schedule.  We are packing as much fun in a day as possible, so despite the physical distancing between cabins the kids will have great memories!
For your planning:
  • A morning snack and lunch are provided each day (dinner also for Sr. high).
  • The camp store will be open each day.
  • Bring swimwear and towel each day.
  • Each cabin group will have a designated cabin for their belongings and changing.
  • Bring a Bible (if you have one).
  • Leave electronics at home (or they will be stored during the day).
  • Long pants are required for riding horses.
  • The kids will be in the same cabin groups each day, we will do our best to make sure they get to be in a cabin with their friend.

Rise & Shine camp

We just found out we are now able to offer overnight family camps.  So, we are now making Rise & Shine camp an overnight camp.  Each family will be lodged separately.  Meals from Sunday lunch through Monday lunch will be provided.  This day camp is designed for kids with a sensory processing disorder or on the autism spectrum.   A parent or caregiver will accompany the child as they develop gross and fine motor skills, social and communication skills and coordination and balance.  The kids will have time to ride and interact with the horses during this therapeutic riding program.  They will also get to swim and boat in the lake to cool off in the afternoons!
