WHY SERVE AT CAMP?

  • Make your summer count for eternity!  You may be worn out and exhausted, but the opportunity to see God at work in the lives of students and in your own life is encouraging, amazing and reminds us that He is the sovereign King!
  • Community!  You will be building friendships that can last a lifetime as you serve together, pray together, worship together, cry together, laugh together.
  • Spiritual growth!  You will be challenged in your own faith as you lead a cabin devotion, answer questions from students and see God use you in the life of another person.
  • The effectiveness of camp ministry!  Camp ministry continues to be one of the most effective ways to reach people with the gospel.  Close to 80% of people receive Christ before the age of 18 and that is the age group camp reaches.
  • The need!  It takes a lot of people to run camp.  From cabin leaders to cooks, to the crew who clean, there is a great need for people who love Jesus, live in obedience to God's Word and want to serve Him.

Will you consider serving at camp this summer?

What Past Staff Say

Lydia, Cabin Leader

"Deciding to help with camp was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The friends and experiences I now have are things I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity to volunteer at Camp Morrow!"

Norm, Music Leader

Camp has a way of holding people captive in God's love for a week at a time. Away from distractions and other outside influences, students have a chance to encounter God's unfiltered love through the volunteers and staff. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of God's work in the lives of the next generation."

Alyssa, Program Staff

"Camp, for me, is a special place to connect with campers in a unique way, to build relationships that will last a life time and to be able to serve Jesus with the gifts he has given me. It wouldn't be summer without at least a week at camp"
